uTest on the Go
As you may have heard, it’s been quite a summer here at uTest nation. There was that little matter of our first-ever acquisition and launch of our resulting new product – uTest Apphance. Then we also learned that uTest had made the Inc. 500 list as the 16th fastest growing private company in the U.S.. We also traveled both near and far this week to share our insights, acknowledge the achievements of our peers and engage in competition while benefiting charity. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:
First up, our CMO, Matt Johnston headed out to the west coast where he spoke on motivating and incentivizing the crowd at both GIL Silicon Valley and Crowdsourtium’s 2012 Symposium. He was joined in travel by our esteemed CTO, Fumi Mastsumoto, who headed out to Denver to engage e-tailers and retailers from around the country at the annual Shop.org summit. Fumi broke bread with business leaders and shared anecdotes and case studies from uTest’s past.
Then just last night, members of our team attended the awards gala in Boston for the Mass Technology Leadership Council’s Technology Leadership Awards, where we were one of four finalists nominated for Private Company of the Year. While uTest was not selected as the winner, to be nominated alongside the likes of HubSpot, Neolane, Visible Measures and eventual winner Acquia was an incredible honor felt by all of us.
Finally, not to be outdone by any of this, our CEO, Doron Reuveni heads to Tennessee this weekend where he will be running, biking, swimming and crawling through mud, all in an effort to win funds for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at the 2012 CEO Endurance World Championship.
So as a particularly busy end-of-summer week winds down, I want to thank the respective conference organizers enabling us to share our insights with thought leaders from around the country and crawl through mud for a good cause. And, on behalf of everyone at uTest, I want to thank the tremendous team at Mass TLC for promoting innovation across the commonwealth. Congratulations to all of the winners and finalists!
We’ll be just as busy this entire fall, so if you want to meet up with us, catch us at one of these upcoming events!
