Whoa! What’s up with the lats 4 ones? “leading journalists and thinkers in software testing today”, come on, they are just starters, newbies… Definitely not leading journalists or thinkers. Do they have at least one paper published? I don’t think so. Are they talented testers? I guess so, but never worked with them.

  8. Matt Johnston said:

If you read around the testing-sphere (which I assume you have if you’ve found your way to this corner of the universe), you’ll see that the Weekend Testing crew is widely known and respected — including my Michael Bolton and others.

Maybe they haven’t followed the traditional path (published papers, written books, et al), and are in the early stages of their testing journeys, but that’s the entire point of their movement, isn’t it?

And for those who have worked with them and read their work, I think the consensus is that they are serious thinkers with a refreshing take on the world of testing. I encourage you (and anyone who wants a dose of fresh ideas) to follow them and give their writings/events an open-minded listen.
