How Does Technology Fit Into the Future of Marketing?
Oh, autumn in greater Boston, How I love your treasures. Beautiful foliage, carved pumpkins representing various emotions, apple picking, partying college students, surly middle aged PR Managers throwing previously picked apples at college students, crying alone at the changing seasons knowing I’m another year closer to death football, explorations and discussions surrounding the future of marketing…wait, what? You heard right. Next week the MITX FutureM conference rolls into Boston and Cambridge and the city will be abuzz with innovative minds on the prowl for new strategies for social media and mobile commerce (not to mention free snacks, and the sadly non-existent happy hours).
Well, take heed marketing brethren, uTest nation will be well-represented. On Tuesday, October 23rd at the Hynes Convention Center, uTest’s CMO, Matt Johnston (fresh off his keynote at STPCon) will debate Gazelle CTO Benjamin Katz in what is sure to be both a heated and fun conversation focused on technology’s role in effective marketing.
The session will be moderated by Bostinno.com’s engaging business editor, Walt Frick, and will feature instant polling technology that will enable session attendees to decide who is making a more cogent argument for technology’s place in the hierarchy of strategic marketing.
What’s that? All this marketing talk is not exactly your cup of tea? Fear not. We’ve got a full slate of developer- and tester-friendly conferences we’ll be attending this fall, so if you want to meet up with us, catch us at one of these events. But if your marketing team is headed to FutureM, wish them well and let them know uTest nation awaits their arrival on our shores!
